The continuous support and encouragement by the Eschool staff especially Ms. ESVCA provides true coursework flexibility motivating Edison to complete his daily assignments giving free time outdoors or with his hobbies instead of being bored in a classroom waiting for others to finish. ![]() The content is engaging with clear objectives and expectations for each module and assignment. As a parent, the student user interface is intuitive, and Edison was able to catch on quickly. The daily class Zoom meetings with his teacher and classmates plus ability-based reading groups give Edison something to look forward to everyday and gives him a routine. Edison loves his elective courses and the numerous online libraries. I sent a screen shot of the notifications I’d received, asking if they could just have someone look into why some alerts were sent but not others and was told I should have had my news alerts on too.īe aware this app just isn’t what it used to be and the support isn’t very helpful.Parent: After making the difficult decision to keep Edison home to ride out the pandemic, there was only one virtual school in the state of Oklahoma best meeting his needs, ESVCA. ![]() I was told there were notifications and I needed to make sure the notifications option was turned on. I emailed the app to ask why the TORNADO notification didn’t come thru, explaining I’d received other notifications. At no time did I receive alerts for high wind or the freaking tornado that bounced through there. Last night I received alerts of excessive heat, lightning, thunderstorms, and flooding for the Guthrie area. I have family scattered all over Oklahoma I have relatives that are terrified of tornadoes so I keep tabs when weather events are happening in their area. Then when I moved, I kept it because of how accurate the radar was and the notifications. I used it a great deal for the radar when I lived in Oklahoma for farming. I didn’t care for the new layout but I figured I’d get used to it. This app has been great from the time I first downloaded in 2013. ![]() The 'Daily' tab will show the 7-day forecast in a manner that is much more similar to on-air 7-day forecasts with a detailed forecast for the next 7 days/nights below. The 'Hourly' tab will give detailed weather information for the next 24 hours on the forecasted weather condition, temperature, pop and wind speed and direction. The 'Currents' tab will give additional information on humidity percent, cloud cover, visibility, dew point, barometric pressure, and sunrise/sunset times. Page opens to the ‘Overview’ tab which gives current conditions, 3 hour hourly forecast, the 7 day daily forecast, and access to the radar page Updated Current Conditions/Forecast Page. Changes include a white background, colored icons, and larger text to make data easier to read. ![]() New look to the current conditions and forecast tile to make it more modern looking and easier for users to read weather data. Boundaries, roads, cities display on top of radar data to make it easier to view your location on the map. Update to the mapping background in the radar tile and page to give it a new modern look. ![]()
